A three-vehicle crash on Interstate 215 in West Valley City, Utah, left one person with life-threatening injuries on Friday morning, September 18, 2026.
The collision happened on northbound I-215 near 2900 South in Salt Lake County during the morning commute.
According to the Utah Highway Patrol, troopers responded to the scene after three vehicles were involved in the crash.
One Person Seriously Injured
One person suffered critical injuries and was taken to Intermountain Medical Center in Murray for treatment.
Authorities said no other injuries had been reported in connection with the crash at the time of the latest update.

The collision caused major delays along northbound I-215 as emergency crews worked at the scene.
Three of the five northbound lanes were closed while responders handled the crash and worked to clear the roadway.
